On October 11, Lindsay was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by her father. Lindsay was lucky enough to have her grandfathers as witnesses and to have all of the men in her extended family participate in the confirmation. I feel so privileged to have the priesthood in my life - I have had many wonderful blessings at the hands of both my father and my sweet husband. On this day, I was reminded again of how grateful I am to have a husband that worthily holds the Melchizedek Priesthood. What a wonderful day...I cried many tears of joy for this special occasion. Ryan and I are both very emotional and the spirit was so strong... it reminded me of the tears of joy we both shared on the day of her birth as well as on her blessing day. I think there are moments like these where the Lord allows the veil to be thin and His spirit consumes me. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and for the purpose and peace it gives me. I am so proud of Lindsay's decision to be baptized and I hope she will always remember this special day. What a beautiful girl! Linds, we are so proud of you and love you so much!!!

How exciting! She looks so cute and happy in her baptism dress. You family looks so great and happy. We really would love to get together with you guys! We honestly miss you guys. I'm glad we at least found your blog so we can keep touch that way, but we would love to see you guys sometime! I'm pretty sure that Chad has Ryan's phone number in his phone.
