Wow, Linds! I honestly cannot believe that you are 8 years old! Where has the time gone? Here are some things that I think make this little 8-year-old so special:
-Lindsay loves babies and little children. She has such a strong nurturing instinct and is a little mother to anyone younger than her. She is very helpful and thrives on having responsibilities.
-Lindsay loves animals.
-Lindsay is very smart.
-Lindsay is a good friend.
-Lindsay is somewhat of a tomboy. While she occasionally likes getting dolled up and putting on jewelry and makeup, these are more of an exception. She'd rather be out playing baseball or football with the boys. Other than three hours on Sundays, you can count on her being in jeans and a t-shirt.
-Lindsay loves to do service.
-Lindsay was a very calm baby and had such a peace about her. She was only 6 weeks old when her uncle Tyler passed away and she was such a source of comfort to her extended family.
-Lindsay is an excellent singer and also loves dancing.
-Lindsay is so much like me it's scary.
-Lindsay has a crush on Zac Efron. I used to be in love with Kirk Cameron when I was her age, and I just found a picture of Zac Efron in her bunkbed. lol.
-Lindsay has a very special bond with her great-grandma Smith. They spent every Tuesday together and had weekly tea parties.
-Lindsay is very passionate.
Lindsay was able to have 2 fun parties this year. She had a friends' party at the Lion House. She loved being treated like royalty - she even got to wear a tiara. Her favorite thing about the party was being able to pick out a porcelain doll to take home. We had a suprise family party for her at the Mayan (her favorite restaurant). Ryan made her ride with a blindfold on the whole way there and she was SO surprised! Some of her favorite gifts included: a new DS game (nintendogs), new clothes, leotard and ballet slippers, a locket, a U of U t-shirt, three new webkinz, and golf clubs.
Lindsay, I'm so glad you are a part of our eternal family. You have such a sweetness about you and I hope you can let that sweetness always radiate from you. You always have and always will hold a special place in my heart and I hope we can always be close. Love you more!!

Looks like she had a wonderful birthday!
That is sooo cool that she had a Lion House birthday party! I've always thought that would be so fun for a little girl. It looks like all the kids had a great time :). Missy, I can't believe that Lindsay is 8 and that it's been that long since Tyler passed away. I'm still so sorry for you and your family.
