Bring on the Terrible 2s!

Emily, I can't believe you are already two! These past two years are such a blur - time flies by just too fast. You are such an independent little girl... you must say, "Emily do it" ten times a day (this proves to be quite challenging when we're in a hurry and you insist on dressing yourself). However, your independence has also been quite a blessing. I wish I was not as busy as I am, but it certainly doesn't seem to phase you. You self-entertain so well... you will spend hours cooking in your toy kitchen, taking your dolls on walks, coloring, doing puzzles, watching Elmo, or a number of other things... all by yourself. You have a very strong character. You've already determined several favorites: everything pink, pizza, pink, Elmo, pink, Dora, and did I mention pink? I know your strength of character will take you far in this life. I hope you will show that strength in making correct choices and being an example to your siblings and your friends. I hope you'll always be willing to stand alone for right. Emily, I love you so much and I'm so excited to see all that you learn as my sweet little two-year-old!

I like the post! Except I look horrible in the background! And I love the new layout. I can't seem to figure out the layout thing. You're a few steps ahead of me in the blogging world!

She is a doll. It is fun to have lots of little girls that age. I loved your comment on my blog about the eulogies from my friends. I am so not dead! See you soon.
